Workshop

Developing a dynamic ecosystem in the private sector for agriculture

To build a thriving commercial agribusiness sector, it should be easy for new companies to registrate and for successful SMEs to grow. There should be ample opportunities for companies to access finance and training, while at the same time companies are held accountable in terms of sustainable business practices and for paying taxes.

Experts in the field, Mr. Benjamin Christian Odjola, National Agencies Coordinator for the Ministery of Agriculture (MAEP), Ms. Marie Martial Félicité Bolemas, General Director of Promotion of the Private Sector for the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Public portfolio, Mr. Kibelolo Massika from Association Pointe Noire Industrie (APNI), Ms. Marie Thérèse Massamba general director of Equation Bio, Ms. Rachel Kombela CEO of Richel Food, Mr. Ivan Ovando-Lacroux Geographic Coordinator Republic of Congo for EU DG-DEVCO, will provide advise on how to attract more (young) entrepreneurs to the agricultural sector.
